Welcome to Southern Tide Guide Service. We are a full service charter fishing operation catering to anglers of all ages and skill levels. Our vessel, the Three Sons is a spacious thirty nine foot Tiffany Yacht, capable of getting you to the fishing grounds fast, comfortably and safely. We fish the Virginia and Maryland portions of the Chesapeake Bay, as well as the Potomac and Rappahannock Rivers. November, December, April and May are great months to catch trophy stripers, while the summer months provide excellent opportunities to catch bluefish, spanish mackerel, red drum and cobia.
No matter what time of year that you choose to fish with us, you will be greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable crew that will work to ensure that you have an enjoyable day out on the water. With a lifetime of experience, Captain Joe Biddlecomb will work hard to ensure that you are in an atmosphere where you are able to relax and enjoy yourself.
In addition to fishing trips, we are able to arrange for custom evening river cruises, or even archery fishing trips for cow nosed rays. Whatever you hope to accomplish during your day on the water, we will strive to meet and exceed your expectations.

I have been wanting to take my father and son on a charter boat fishing trip at least once in our lifetime for a special memory we would all remember, but for many years and hectic schedules it remained on the to do list. A couple weeks ago I finally decided to make it happen, reviewed over a dozen charter boats on the Chesapeake Bay, and decided to go with Southern Tide. Captain Joe and First Mate Will made the fishing trip one we will never forget. My father, son, and I had a great time on the water, caught our limit of fish within a couple hours, and couldn’t have imagined a better fishing trip for the three generations of men in our family. From start to finish the entire experience was easy, relaxing, and fun. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Just show up and be ready to have a great day and catch fish. I highly recommend them to anyone, and since had such a wonderful trip we decided on the way home we would try to make this trip happen at least once a year from now on.
